What is it like in your country of residence for someone with your relationship status (married/divorced/dating)? If you're single, how do you meet other people? Do English-speaking people tend to gravitate to certain parts of your city?

Well there are very few English speakers so am currently in a long term relationship with a Polish speaker who does not speak English. So I have learned Polish

If you have children, what advice would you give to others making a similar transition to your country of residence?

Learn Polish

If you do not have children, do you generally spend your social time with other expat couples? If not, what else do you like to do as a couple?

We generally invite friend around who are mainly non English speakers

If you are married or in a relationship with a person of another nationality, how has this experience enriched you as a person. What kind of challenges do you face?

Well it made me realise that language and communication is probably one of the most important facets of existence. Its not impossible to learn a foriegn language even at the age of 48 just a matter of application. I now realise I was really stupid as I managed to come out of my full time education in the UK not having much French language after 7 years. Compared to Polish, French is just a dialect of English
