Describe your group.
This is a group founded in late July, 2003 to promote interaction between all nationalities in Bangkok. It is a non-profit organization. We're involved in various activities, social and professional. Open to all.
What is unique about your organization?
This is the only group in Bangkok open to everyone, regardless of nationality, gender, occupation (or lack thereof), personal interests, income, etc. About the only requirement is to be able to speak at least passable English.
What kind of activities does your group sponsor?
Business and social meetings, group travel, charity work, classes, speakers, and anything else the members suggest and approve. As a new group less than 2 months old as this is written, we have done a limited number of things to date, primarily to have speakers. We are in the process of registering under Thai law as a non-profit organizayion so as to become involved in charity work. We also are working on group medical insurance and a discount program for members at local businesses of all types.
How often does your group meet?
Currently, every Sunday for formal activities and every Tuesday for a social mixer.

500 baht (about US$10)/year

No. So far we have American, British, Canadian, Thai, Australian, German, and Danish members. We are actively working at broadening our membership to include more nationalities.

English is the working language, though a number of languages are spoken by various members.

No age limits (except for Association officials)
