Submitted by ResearchTeam

What is the name of the city or town that you are reporting on?

Playa del Carmen

If a friend of yours living in the same country were expecting a baby, what advice would you give her?

First, familiarize yourself with local medical personnel and facilities. Make sure to schedule antenatal care appointments regularly throughout your pregnancy and get to know the doctors and midwives available who can provide you with quality care. Also, make sure to research the birthing process and the options available to you in Playa del Carmen. Finally, create a network of fellow expats who have had babies in Mexico, in order to get tips and support from others with shared experiences.
