Kuwait City is the capital and largest city of Kuwait, located at the heart of the country along the southern shores of Kuwait Bay on the Persian Gulf. As the political, cultural, and economic center of Kuwait, the city boasts a modern skyline punctuated by high-rise buildings and is a hub for commerce and industry. It is home to key governmental offices, including the National Assembly of Kuwait, and numerous cultural institutions, such as the Kuwait National Museum and the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre. The city's architecture is a blend of traditional Islamic designs and modern aesthetics, reflecting its rich history and rapid development. Kuwait City is also known for its vibrant markets, or souks, such as Souk Al-Mubarakiya, where visitors can experience local culture and purchase traditional goods. The city's waterfront promenade, the Corniche, offers a scenic view of the bay and is a popular spot for walking and socializing. Despite the arid environment, there are green spaces like Al Shaheed Park, which provide a respite from the urban landscape. Kuwait City serves as a gateway to the rest of the country, with well-developed infrastructure and transportation links, including the Kuwait International Airport.

Schools in Kuwait City

International Schools
Kuwait City hosts a number of international schools such as the American School of Kuwait, which offers an American curriculum and the British School of Kuwait, which follows a British curriculum. These schools cater to a diverse student body and provide an international education to expatriate and local students alike.

Bi-lingual Schools
Kuwait City has several bilingual schools including Dasman Bilingual School, which provides education in both Arabic and English and integrates elements of both Kuwaiti and Western cultures in its curriculum.
