Parents drive them. Some families carpool.
How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?
Facility is continually being improved. Very cheerful and safe campus.
Extra Curricular activities include: French Choir, Spanish ages 4-12, French ages 7-12, Parent w/child language classes in French or Spanish, & Dance.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
Curriculum is the same. The school has been very helpful with assisting families in finding English tutors for the English curriculum and French tutors for the French curriculum if a child needs help.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
PA organizes annual family picnics and fundraisers. A school soccer team was formed with a community league. Four nightly PA meetings are held throughout the year to update families on the school and two family potlucks are coordinated with Children's Performances in the middle and end of the year.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
Sign up early because space is limited. The teachers take very good care of the children and class sizes are small so a very high quality education is provided. Expect to help the school in a way that you enjoy because 20 hours of volunteer work are required per family each year.
