Parents must bring their children, some carpools are organized, or take public transportation.
How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?
The campus has plenty of room for expansion. There is no formal athletic program, but plenty of after school activities are organized by the school.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
The school has just opened in August 2005. The communication between the school administration and parents have been very good. The small classroom sizes makes transition extremely easy.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
This school is a non-profit organization. The parents are actually the owners of the school, which results in a very strong parent-teacher organization. There are many parent social activities.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
If you are an American expat, this school is the best choice in Perth. It is the only school in Perth with a northern hemishere school calendar. It is also the only school in Perth with an American curriculum and advance placement program. The AP program allows students to graduate with university credit in many subjects.
