British

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?
Facilitiesa re very poor compared with other local and International schools in the area. The buildings are 'tired' and in bad need of maintenance but the budget is limited and priorities lay elsewhere in the group expansion.

It is great to be be able to move directly into the UK education system from the UK
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
Social activities are mainly centered around fundraising although the school of a fopr profit organisation (!). Very dedicated team of volunteers doing good work behind the scenes.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
The school has good, but not brilliant academic results and the staff turneover is high to to their alleged poor salary structure. Few teachers continue past their two year posting. The facilities are poor for what is the most expensive school in Houston. It is run as a for profit organisation and this often leads to conflicts of interest. The only real reason for attending this school is for the continuation of the UK curriculum. There is no competition for UK curriculum whereas in the IB years people have voted with their feet.
