pre-k thru 12

How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

Walk, private car, school bus for a fee

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

Old renovated 4-5 level building. Facilities are nice, but located on "bar street" (hookers and drugs). Extra-curricular activities include sports, community service activities, drama productions.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

Curriculum is a little too easy for high school students. No grade lower than a "B", even if work is failing. If your child is smart, no big deal...if he has trouble, watch out if you are transferring back to US. To get rid of "problem" teenagers, they have in the past, issued High School diplomas to students who didn't complete satisfactory work...just to get rid of them.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

There is a parent group, and also a parent advisory board.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Elementary is GREAT! Watch out for high school, however. Lots of problems with drugs, alcohol and bullying. Administration is "blind" to these problems.
