At Toorak campus (Glamorgan) - mainly by car. At Corio - Mainly boarders and some day students. Timbertop (Year 9) - Boarding

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

The school is co-educational school. Excellent facilities in the main campus (Corio). I have 5 boys currently attending the school spreading over 3 campuses. My 2 older sons board (Year 10 and Year 9) and they love boarding at the school. My younger 3 boys are at Toorak campus (day school). Extra-curricular activities offered depend on the season: e.g. Tennis, Swimming, Cricket, Australian Rules Football, Soccer, Basketball, Rugby, Hockey, Badminton.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

Before attending Geelong Grammar School (GGS), my boys attended The Alice Smith School in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. To me GGS is like an International School. There are a number of international students attending the school. The systems they use are PYP/IB and Victorian.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

For every class, there are 2 class reps. Every term (there are 4 terms) there will be at least 1 parents social gathering such as coffee morning and cocktail party. There is also end of the year family picnic at school (Toorak campus).

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Don't hesitate to ask when you have questions about the school. You can arrange for a tour around the campus.
