Transportation to the school is free (buses)

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

The school owners and founders are American Citizens - Daniel & Melody Adkins. This is the ONLY International School, catering towards Bangalore's ever expanding expatriate community that is ACTUALLY owned and operated by fellow expatriates and Overseas Women's Club Members!

Melody Adkins, co-founder, assist the families with all relocation activities and has a welcoming committee set up for the children that is comparative to "rolling out the red carpet" as you enter Bangalore.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

Parent Teacher Organization is very community driven.

Parents are also chosen to sit on the school's Board of Directors.

Unlike Bangalore's other expatriate schools, each parent is afforded the opportunity to meet the school owners, have their contact details, and ability to speak to them personally.

The owners will actually come to your home or place of business and speak with you personally, assist in completing applications, getting passport photos taken, and etc.

The level of customer service you will receive from this school is above and beyond anything you would ever expect!

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

ENROLL.

Contact Melody or Dan, they are wonderful people and will do everything in their power to get you settled into Bangalore.

Even if you do not chose MISB, they will make arrangements for you to visit other schools and actually set up a tour of the other schools for you.

Dan tells everyone that he is the "Progressive" business owner. (that is a car insurance company commercial in America). He is happy to introduce you to all the options available to you and let you make your own decision. He just wants to inform you that Mastery is an option.
