How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)
The majority of the students go to school by bus, but many live within walking distance.
How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?
The facilities are excellent. There are tennis courts, swimming pools,gyms,theatres and the library is fantastic. There are also plenty of clubs that are student run, as well as after school sports.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
The school has counsellors for high school and middle school students, who are really helpful and know a lot about different curiculems. In the high school, most of the courses are not grade specific. It isn't at all uncommon to find students in grades 9 - 12 in one class room.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
The PTA organizes events and provides plenty of opportunities for parents to get involved in their children's education, as well as to socialize with other parents and teachers.
