It is possible to take all the options some children are living so close they cnan walk walk or ride by bike some kids come by train and some take the school bus
How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?
There are great facilities -- Theater, a new Gym playgrounds etc. The extra curricular activities are after school sports (basketball,football, swimming, tennis, softball etc). After school activities for ES (34 activities from cooking till playing chess, painting, etc. Music (Int'l Choir) Theatre Art (participation in Musicals or Cabaret ES/MS/HS level
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
The school has rigorous IB program and excellent academic level. You can;t go back to the Hungarian system from this school as the Hungarian system is promoting learning by heart, and focus on theory. Int'l Schools focus on holistic approach and prezentation skills, critical thinking etc.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
very active PTO - Newcomer's coffee's Orientation Fair, cross cultural events, short day trips etc.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
Call the PTO's Welcome parent's group to talk to their own nationality group and ask for a student led school tour.
