Busses run for almost all childen, or parents drop them off.
How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?
Facilities are great, and building projects are on the drawing board for expansion of the school. There are many extra-curricular activities available through the school year, including many sports, theatre productions, and other clubs.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
My children both started school here, so transition wasn't an issue. The school provides an excellent education for each child, is flexible and responds well to invididual requests. There are around 50 nationalities represented at the school, and all seem to be happy there!
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
The Parent Association is very active and provides many chances to get involved and to socialise.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
ISS is an amazing school environment, provides an excellent all-around education for children, and is highly supportive of parents and families. Visit the school and you'll understand immediately what a wonderful place it is!
