This is a very pleasant school which is small with up to date facilities. Extra curricular - sports, music, drama club, trips abroad, student exchanges....
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
In fact my children have always lived in France and it has given them the opportunity to study in their two languages - English and French. The kids come out fully bilingual in French and English with and International High School diploma so they can go on to study in many other countries.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
There is a very active parent association -PSAB -with a Newcomers Committee, an Events Committee, a Higher Education Commitee, an Alumni (students and parents) committee and so on
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
Your children have to be bilingual - French and English - and will be required to take an entrance exam in English. There is an Open House held every year around March where you can get details on the program. Otherwise, you can get information on the College Martin Luther King web site.
