How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

disappointing after school programme (limited choice) which can not really be used by kids under 10 as there is no late bus for them. Music programme mediocre. (my daughter says horrible, much better music instruction in the US, unless your child already knows how to play and instrument dont bother, don't count on them learning in their music classes) Facilities otherwise good - nice location with good classrooms

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

transition was no good. My daughter when arriving for middle school was confused and noone really helped. That being said she quickly integrated and found the curriculum easy. My son asked how come primary school in Geneva is easier than in the US - a sign that the standards are lower to what they had back home.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

very limited The business office is totally disorganized and not very responsive. No client orientation which is suprising for a school that is indeed run as a business. I am being frank here as I hope the school will read some of these comments and improve!

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

It's an international bubble. All the kids (as of middle schoole) hate being in Switzerland. If you want your child to get some local culture and friends don't put them there. I have seen too many kids not speak much french after several years there which is not a good indicator for their language classes. Some kids seem to stay in beginners for ever and noone seems to push them either.
