Run down Falling down- constant patchup job. The gym is finally 'being built' but after many years of hearing about it. If it takes as long as the library my children will have gone (and all the fees we've paid that were ostensibly to support building).
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
IB curriculum is fabulous. They offer languages- selectively in the primary school but since German is one of the selected languages it suits us.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
UPTA- can be a bit 'eurocentric' as many of the parents feel that they don't have the English language skills to be involved.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
I would question the turnover of staff. Two excellent elementary administrators moving on in past two years. People in administration stay one contract or break it (the head of elementary is leaving after only just one year). Class room teachers very caring. Nice setting.
