In what town or city is this school located?

Nice

International School

What grade levels are represented at this school?

The school accepts children from Preschool (Maternelle) to third grade (secondary school).

How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

By car or bus

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

Good facilites. Nice friendly atmosphere. In a wooeded area so very nice surroundings. Small class sizes which helps learning. Varied extra-curricular acitivites such as the history of music, hip hop, archery, and first aid training.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

The curriculum is bi-lingual - so gave my child time to adapt. Samll class sizes meant they had personal attention and were not overwhelmed and were able to adapt slowly.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

You immediately feel the warm atmosphere of the school when your kids start at EBICA. They make a big effort to create a special bond with each parent. In addition they have a parents association called the CSF. This actively assists newcomers to integrate into the community. This has been really useful to get to know other families and not to feel alone!

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

You can contact them to find out more. They regulary have open days so you can take a look at the school. So well worth a look! www.ebicaschool.com
