How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)
Children usually travel by Montri School Bus which efficient and very reliable. Many children walk or cycle from houses nearby.The school is planning to have a hostel in near future.
How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?
The facilities are excellent.They have two swimming pools, a tennis court, a covered gym, elementary playground apart from three canteens and two good libraries. There are a number of clubs which are student led giving very good exposure to children in leadership.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
The teachers are extremely supportive provided your child is willing to work hard. My son's teacher took extra classes during lunch session without any charge to bring him to the general standard. The school has a culture to push your child to do best if they see potential. Excellent counselors.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
The PTA is very strong and the administration and the parent body have good co-ordination.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
Both of my children had very good experience here after they transferred here from another school in Bangkok. I would advice anyone wanting to enroll their children in an international school in Bkk should at least go and visit this school once and decide.
