I would say this is the school to go to for anyone coming to the Minneapolis-St. Paul region, South View has been ranked in the top 10 Middle Schools of the country fo 5 years running, and Edina Public Schools is nationally recognized as one of the best school districts in the country. They offer many activities and the students are very welcoming, I love to tell the story that I heard from the principal about how last year there were 21 new 9th graders coming into SVMS (South View Middle School) and wi9thin 3 weeks all were asked if they had meet anyone they liked to be around and all answered "I love hanging around with everyone, they are all so inviting."
