Tartu is a small city... walking, biking, with parent¨s cars.

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

The facilities are quite home-like, it is a cozy wooden house near to the city center and parks. At the school there are lots of free time clubs for the students, t.ex swimming, sports, music, science club. In Tartu city kids have lots of opportunities to take part in activities.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

Tartu International School provides very individual approach for every student.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

Parents can be involved in many ways. They can attend schools administration or even everyday school life, if they wish. Many of the trips and festivities of the school are welcoming the parents too. There are also language courses in English and in Estonian for parents.
