The school has both a lawn and garden as well a paved play area. All outside equipment is imported Little Tikes or similar. Inside, there are computers for the older children and a good deal of audiovisual equipment. The school supplies up to 3 meals a day plus snacks as it's open from 7am to 8pm to assist working parents.
The school follows uses the Creative Curriculum as its framework. After school hours there is a great deal of arts and crafts.
Because the Kid Canucks accepts ages from infants of 2 months up to children of 5 years there is a full time nurse on site.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
The curriculum is US based and there is a 7:1 teacher/student ratio. There is a very caring environment.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
The school is very small and relatively new. There are no parent-teacher organizations yet.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
