How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

Facilities are very nice. Limited extra-curricular activities.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

This school is not even willng to follow a standardized curriculum even though it calls itself an American school. There are no programs to prepare children for repatriation.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

There is a parent-teacher association, but the owner of the school makes decisions regardless of parental input. There is not a board, and the school is run as a business. The only social activites for the parents are arrange by the parents through the PTA.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

It will be a very frustrating experience. Set your expectations very low - the school has. It is an IB school at the Middle school and high school level, but the school is concerned with looking good, not about educating students. Chinese parents send their children to the school to learn English, but there is such a large Chinese population in the school that the Chinese students just continue to speak Chinese. Bring a copy of your previous school's curriculum because they don't have a curriculum that they follow especially during the MYP.
