How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

Many of the children live well away from the school so have drivers who transport them back and fore. We live close to the TUIS primary school and secondary schools so our children walk.

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

TUIS has two good buildings that have recently been constructed. Facilities are good with modern desks and nice play areas.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

Our children are English and Urdu speaking and have fitted easily into the school. TUIS uses the British national curriculum which my children will also be following when we go to my next posting. Moving from one school to another will not be difficult for them.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

No parent teacher organisation. They do have regular parent's days. Also a big Mayfest each year to welcome spring. We set up a food from Pakistan stall there.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Our children seem to be very happy at both schools. The older ones at the secondary school are very sad about us leaving soon. School has been OK for us.
