There are intensive English classes for non-English speakers and for those children who don't speak Spanish, French or German (the second language taught in the elementary school for all subjects) - there are special classes and referrals for resources, like to www.wor.com No repatriation programs, but it is an IB school.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
Yes, and specific language parent organizations and a mentor program for old parents to "adopt" newcomers. One half of the school is American, the other half is foreign, so there is a lot of turnover.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
It is expensive and the dual instruction in the elementary program (1 day English, then 1 day either French, Spanish or German) is not for everyone. The high school is the standard IB program.
