Its a small school that is flexible with the extra-curricular activities; good outdoor space.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
The school has a great inclusive culture. My kids were completely at home on the first day at school. Both teachers and students are so used to students transitioning in and out during the year (as most kids are from expat families). There are 16 nationalities in the school and many of these children came with no English. But within weeks the children start conversing fluently.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
Parents are very involved in the school. They volunteer time as class-room assistants, office support as well as organize multiple events, fund-raisers for the school.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
The school is an International Baccalaureate school and hence children are learning using the enquiry based learning approach. The parent community is very supportive so you can reach out to each other in times of need. If you are considering this school, I strongly recommend visiting during school session.
