How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

Prime School is located in the beautiful Sintra mountains with the view to the Palace. The classrooms have a computer for each student and is accommodating to student needs. The school is actively involved in projects towards helping the environment and the community and the schools entrance has a lovely vegetable garden planted by the students themselves as well as some rabbits and guinea pigs that are cared for throughout the year by the students. Extra curricular activities include: Basketball, Soccer, Swimming, Ballet, Fencing, Music (Singing, Instruments) etc.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

The school is very supportive by supplying tutors and after school support from our teachers. The Cambridge curriculum is also flexible regarding the subjects chosen by the students which allows the students to feel comfortable with the the subject are learning. Most of the teachers are Trilingual in English, Spanish and Portuguese which helps students that are entering the school from foreign countries.There is also a physiologist available at the school throughout the year.

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

The school invited parents to be involved in any school event or social activity.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

The price is competitive compared to most international schools in Lisbon and Cascais and the Cambridge program is considered to be the best curriculum in the world. I highly recommend this school!
