Beautiful campus. Great facilities, but limited in space. "Quaint" architecture. Major sports: soccer, basketball, volleyball. Music programs are strong, and academic standards are high.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
We're American, so our curriculum is the same. The school does offer "Third Culture Kid" seminars for both students and parents to prepare them for departure to their home country.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
The school plans and organizes three or four major "school-wide" events throughout the year: a carnival, an international night, a drama night, and a Christmas program. They also schedule various musical performances by the middle school and high school students. The Parent Teacher Organization helps plan and coordinate the major events throughout the year. They also help with the school newsletter.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
The teachers love the students. We've been pleased with the personal attention our son has received, and the overall atmosphere on campus.
