The school is international but has a strong focus on French. Students in primary follow the UK Cambridge programme and secondary students follow the IB curriculum.

All grades are represented
How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)
Most children would get dropped off as access to the school is tricky. Campus is in a lovely but secluded wooded area called the Domaine d'Argenteuil in Waterloo. The school has a bus service with pickup points in Brussels.
How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?
The school has a large indoor sports hall and some outdoor facilities (tennis, football, etc). Many extracurricular activities are available but the sports on offer vary every year. The school also has a 'Culture School' programme for extra languages, music lessons, and drama.
What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?
Transition is smooth since students follow an international curriculum, so moving here is no problem. The school does have a strong focus on French, which takes some getting used to, but this is very beneficial to the students in the long run.
How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?
Bogaerts International School is one of 3 schools, including a business school and a french university preparation course. Therefore there is quite a large parent community. Yearly events are organised, including holiday celebrations, world dinners, open days etc.
What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?
I would recommend visiting the school of course and maybe getting in touch with some parents of the same year. The admissions person is extremely helpful and accommodating.
