How would you describe this school? (i.e. American, British, International, Local, etc.)

American

What grade levels are represented at this school?

K12

How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

School Bus/Walk/Train

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

School seems to have good extra curricular activities. However elementary grade kids dont get much of sports exposure.. may be sports focus is from 5th onwards.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

Honestly - very little. Elementary school is run by Husband/Wife couple with huisband as principal and wife as class teacher for 4 grade. Its literally impossible to give any feedback to teacher or principal. The teacher seems very strict and bit harsh. But channels to give feedback to school are literllay closed as the teacher doesn't take feedbacks in good spiritis. Teachers seem to be putting in effort though. But all is well if you dont have feedback ..

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

There is parent teacher organisation for which there is a fees to join. I have talked to many parents in same grade as my kid, and most of them dont remember when they last spoke to teachers or principal. School has hired few American expats -husband and their spouses work in same school with their kids in it. ITs not a very professioanl setup.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Look out for schools in Seoul area. GSIS as last option since you wont find much professioanl teachers here. all is well as long as you dont have any feedback to school or teachers.
