Parent's Review of Mougins School in Mougins - Cote D'Azur, France

What is the name of your child's school? (Please report on one school per survey.)

Mougins School

In what town or city is this school located?

Mougins - Cote D'Azur

How would you describe this school? (i.e. American, British, International, Local, etc.)

British Curriculum

What grade levels are represented at this school?

1-18 years

How do most children get to school everyday? (bus, train, walk, etc.)

You have to drop off and pick up your child by car. No bus school service is available except the availability of one bus for local school trips (mostly Geography) and used in sports going to the stadium once a year.

How would you describe the facilities at this school? What extra-curricular activities are available?

Facilities are fine, theatre for drama and music concerts. Sports hall and big playground. Don't get impressed as physical education (PE) are not with high quality. PTA is useless only aligns with what the management wants and not in the interests of students.

What has this school done to help your child transition from the curriculum in your home country into the curriculum in your new country? Are there programs to prepare your child for repatriation?

There are no specific programs to prepare your child for this transition moving from your home country to the new one, so I would say watch out and be careful, don't depend on the help of the school as they will not offer it although it is expensive with fees range from €14,000 - €20,000

How would you describe the social activities available for parents through this school? Are there parent-teacher organizations?

Parent Teacher Organizations (PTA) as mentioned earlier is useless as there is no proper communication and only working for their own personal interests. Wellbeing is rigged including Students Council. (biased to children of staff and personal favoritism).

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling their child in this school?

Please think CAREFULLY before moving your child to that school as the Group who owns currently focusing on making money not academics, bare in mind that they also own (International School of Nice (ISN), ICS (named ebica before), mainly all the International private schools in the South of France. Doesn't value the money. Low quality of teachers specially English level is a disaster for a British school. Teachers leave in the middle of the course without being replaced except with online recording videos.
