Hopkins Village is a small Garifuna fishing community in Belize located about 45 minutes south of Dangriga. It is known for its warm, friendly people and laid-back lifestyle. Hopkins is an excellent place for windsurfing and kitesurfing and the central location makes it a great base for exploring nearby beaches and cays. Before moving to Hopkins Village, it’s important to research where you will be living, what the cost of living is, and which services and amenities are available locally. It is also important to ensure that you have a stable job that will enable you to support yourself. Additionally, it’s important to be aware of the risks and regulations that come with living in a foreign country, such as the need to obtain visas, residency permits, and other permits as applicable.
