Community House & Information Centre (CHIC) is a non-profit community service organization committed to meeting the needs of the international community in Kobe, Japan. CHIC's goal is to serve as a bridge between the international community and the Kobe community at large, to help both newcomers and long-time residents get the most out of their stay in Japan.

What is unique about your organization?

We have classes (cooking, craft, language, childrens, etc), trips (exploring different places in Kansai and the broader areas),and events (furniture sales, carpet auctions, dances and social events) that are designed to keep expats entertained and interested in all the Japan can offer.

CHIC is open from Monday to Friday from 10:00 - 3:00
