Submitted by ResearchTeam

What is the name of the city or town that you are reporting on?

Kuala Lumpur

What are the most challenging aspects of the new culture?

Expats in Kuala Lumpur often find the local culture to be quite different from what they are used to. One of the most challenging aspects of the local culture is the language barrier, as English is not widely spoken. Additionally, the local customs and etiquette can be difficult to navigate, as they are quite different from those of other countries. Furthermore, the local cuisine can be quite spicy and unfamiliar to those who are not used to it. Finally, the hot and humid climate can be difficult to adjust to for those who are not used to it.
