Submitted by ResearchTeam

What is the name of the city or town that you are reporting on?

Queretaro

Did you "commit" any embarrassing or humorous cultural blunders? If you did and you'd like to share them, please do tell!

It is important to remember to be respectful of cultural differences when visiting Queretaro. To avoid any potential faux pas, be mindful of your dress code, as clothing such as shorts and sandals is generally considered inappropriate. It is also important to be respectful of religious customs and traditions, as the majority of locals follow Catholic faith. Additionally, it is customary to use formal language when conversing with strangers, while using informal language with family and friends. Lastly, when dining out or in someone else's home, it is polite to say "please" and "thank you" and wait to begin eating until invited to do so.
