Standing at 165 meters tall, the Singapore Flyer offers breathtaking views of the city and its surroundings. Other popular attractions include the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the Singapore Zoo, and the Singapore Night Safari.

The restaurant and nightlife scene in Singapore is vibrant and diverse. Some of the most popular restaurants include the award-winning Restaurant Andre, which serves modern French cuisine, and the Michelin-starred Waku Ghin, which serves contemporary Japanese cuisine. For a more casual dining experience, there are plenty of hawker centers and food courts offering a variety of local dishes. As for nightlife, there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from, such as the popular Zouk Club, which is known for its electronic music and lively atmosphere.

When it comes to recreational activities, Singapore has plenty to offer. Popular activities include shopping at the many malls and shopping centers, exploring the city’s many parks and gardens, and taking a leisurely stroll along the Singapore River. For those looking for a more active experience, there are plenty of sports and outdoor activities to choose from, such as golfing at the Sentosa Golf Club, kayaking at the Marina Bay, and rock climbing at the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.

"Expats in Singapore often join clubs and activities such as sports teams, language classes, and cultural events. Expats can also meet people through networking events, online forums, and social media groups. "Lots of socialising amongst expat families. Most expat families have limited contact with the locals, mainly due to local children not being allowed to attend international schools. Around 80% or locals live in government housing too, as opposed to the private condominiums or houses that most expats live in. Lots of sporting opportunities for kids an adults - soccer, gymnastics, ice skating, horse riding, rugby, swimming," commented an expat living in Singapore.

"Life for expats and digital nomads in Singapore is generally quite pleasant. The city is known for its modern infrastructure, efficient public transportation, and excellent healthcare system. Singapore is also a great place to live for those who enjoy the outdoors, as it is home to many parks and nature reserves. The city is also a hub for international business, making it an attractive destination for those looking to work remotely. Additionally, Singapore is a culturally diverse city, with a variety of cuisines, languages, and religions. Expats and digital nomads in Singapore can enjoy a high quality of life, with plenty of opportunities to explore and experience the city," said an expat in Singapore.
