Morristown is a historic large town located in Morris County, New Jersey, known for its significant role in the American Revolution.

Today, Morristown is a vibrant community that blends colonial charm with modern conveniences. There is a historic town square - known as the Morristown Green - that boasts a variety of shops, restaurants, and other businesses around a 2.5 acre park where community events take place throughout the year. The areas that extend off the Green all have more businesses that provide all kinds of amenities to residents and people from all over the surrounding communities.

The town has truly done a remarkable job of transforming itself over the last 15 years through both renovations and new building. This modernization has largely been tasteful and respectful of its historical charm. There are a wide range of housing options - from large historic homes to brand new high rise apartment buildings - available at varying price levels. The transformation continues unabated today.

The town's rich history is preserved in several sites, including the Morristown National Historical Park, which features the Ford Mansion, which George Washington used as his headquarters during the American Revolution, and Jockey Hollow.

The Mayo Performing Arts Center was renovated in 2007 and 2011 and now hosts a range of live performances attended by people all over the region. It also offers performing arts education and classes that are well regarded.

Morristown also serves as an expanding hub for business and healthcare, with Atlantic Health's Morristown Medical Center being a major provider of services to the surrounding area and beyond. The town's proximity to New York City, along with New Jersey Transit's Morristown train station, makes it a popular choice for commuters.

Healthcare in Morristown
