For example, the library hosts a winter reading challenge for all age groups. South Mountain Reservation, an Essex County Park, Watchung Reservation, and Morristown National Historical Park, which includes Jockey Hollow. Additionally, the Great Swamp Wildlife Refuge is easily accessible from Short Hills.
