"I’m a restless great-grandma, single for 50 years . I was a Cold War. Air Force wife before that so learned how to sort, give away,keep, and toss out, prepping for a move. I moved to Honolulu,, put things in storage and backpacked Australia for two years. I encountered the European young people traveling from Asia, so thought I could too. Flew to Singapore and “did “Malaysia and Thailand for two more years.. Side trips to great museums. Honolulu is noisy now, and over-tourested.. locals need the business but complain, which is a new attitude. I like living simply on a beach near a restaurant, swimming for my rheumatiz relief. "Hi x x Total noob to this forum, but so glad i found it! I recently went to Fiji and fell in love and am now doing anything i can to get my ass over there. My plan is to try and open a cafe/shop in the Coral Coast area, then later extending with 2 cabins for toursist to stay in. I have land organised, as i stayed in a village and our host family has 3acres they are happy to lease me... Right now its all in the planning stages, but am i kidding myself? is this possible? Any tips? Suggestions? Thanks x x x" - Jax78
