Schools in Bergen

International Schools
The International School of Bergen offers an international education for students from preschool to high school, providing the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. Bergen also hosts the British International School of Stavanger, which, although not in Bergen, is within reach and offers a British-style education with international elements.

Bi-lingual Schools
The Red Cross Nordic United World College is located in Fjaler, near Bergen, and offers a bilingual International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with a focus on humanitarian and environmental issues. Additionally, the Norwegian section of the International School of Bergen offers bilingual education in Norwegian and English.

Healthcare in Bergen

Bergen is home to Haukeland University Hospital, which is one of the largest hospitals in Norway and serves as the local hospital for Bergen's population as well as the regional hospital for approximately one million people. In addition to Haukeland, Bergen also hosts Haraldsplass Deaconess Hospital, which provides a range of medical services and is known for its patient care.
