"Hey y’all! I’m a single, 31 year old female who has lived abroad since July 2021. I’m Russian but was raised in the US, and decided once the mandates got a bit out of control in ‘’21 that I needed to jump ship and leave the country. Best decision I ever made. I first moved to MX and after 16 months I relocated to The Sacred Valley and now live in San Martin, Tarapoto, Peru. "I need to recharge my batteries and am looking to re-connect with some joys, such as eating great food, which Peru, and perhaps Lima in particular, has lots of. (At least Anthony Bourdain thinks so:-). I would rather not just come on a whim or "vacation", which I haven't done for years. I am an ESL teacher and would like teach (while I'm doing all that eating) and learn Spanish. Any thoughts/recommendations/suggestions? I would consider volunteering my teaching time...
