Describe your group.
We are a group of women who meet regularly to socialize and network in and around Casablanca, Morocco. Most of us are women married to Moroccans but many are married to men who are doing business here. The group was formed from the simple weekly breakfast date of two friends yearning for someone with whom they could converse with in English. It has grown into a lively and active group with members supporting each other personally, professionally and assisting each other in their transition into life as an expat in Morocco!
What is unique about your organization?
Our group does not exclude Moroccan women who speak English. I think this offers us some very unique insights into life here.
What kind of activities does your group sponsor?
Social events for women. Weekly breakfasts at various cafe's. A monthly dinner club to explore new venues in a safe and non threatening environment.
