The Vrijthof is also home to numerous cafes, restaurants, and events throughout the year.

Another must-visit site is the Helpoort, the oldest city gate in the Netherlands, dating back to the 13th century. Nearby, you can stroll along the remnants of the medieval city walls and explore the beautiful parks that surround them. The St. Pietersberg Caves are another fascinating attraction, offering guided tours through a vast network of underground tunnels that were used as shelters during World War II.
