Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, is a vibrant city with plenty of attractions for tourists and locals alike. The city is home to a number of historical sites, museums, and parks, as well as a bustling shopping and entertainment scene. Here are some of the top sites of interest in Riyadh.

The National Museum of Saudi Arabia is a must-see for anyone visiting Riyadh. The museum houses a collection of artifacts and artworks from the country’s past, as well as interactive exhibits and educational programs. The Masmak Fortress is another popular attraction, a 19th-century fort that was the site of a famous battle in 1902. The fort is now a museum and a popular tourist destination.

The Kingdom Centre is a modern skyscraper that offers stunning views of the city from its observation deck. The tower also houses a shopping mall, restaurants, and a theater. Riyadh Zoo is another popular destination, with over 200 species of animals, including lions, tigers, and giraffes. The zoo also has a petting zoo and a playground for children.

The city also has a vibrant restaurant and nightlife scene. Some of the most popular restaurants in Riyadh include Al-Nakheel, a traditional Saudi restaurant serving local dishes such as kabsa and mandi; Al-Tazaj, a fast-food chain serving Middle Eastern cuisine; and Al-Fakher, a seafood restaurant with a wide selection of dishes. For nightlife, there are a number of bars and clubs, such as the popular Skybar, which offers stunning views of the city, and the trendy Club 7, which features live music and DJs.

Riyadh also offers plenty of recreational activities for visitors and locals. Popular activities include horseback riding, camel riding, and sandboarding at the nearby Al-Ula desert. There are also a number of golf courses in the city, such as the Riyadh Golf and Country Club and the King Abdullah Economic City Golf Course. For those looking for a more relaxed experience, there are plenty of parks and gardens, such as the King Fahd Park and the Riyadh Botanical Garden.

"Life for expats and digital nomads in Riyadh can be quite different from what they are used to. The city is a bustling metropolis with a modern infrastructure, but it is also a conservative society with strict laws and regulations. Expats and digital nomads must be aware of the local customs and laws, and respect them. The cost of living is relatively low, and there are plenty of opportunities for work and leisure. The city is well connected with the rest of the world, and there are plenty of places to explore. Expats and digital nomads can find a vibrant and diverse community in Riyadh, with plenty of activities and events to enjoy," commented an expat living in Riyadh.
