Tuition Opportunities?

I am a fully-qualified English teacher (British and N. Am. training). My husband and I hope to retire on a boat at the end of the year and are hoping to live for at least a year in DR--longer if we like it. (Would like to settle down somewhere!)Would there be many or very few opportunities for me to work part-time providing tuition? And at what rates?
