Construction Jobs in DR

What's the job situation like down there for expats with a Construction Management degree? I have lots of Project Mgr., building code inspection & construction experience? I may be coming to the island in a couple of weeks to work with relief/rebuilding efforts in Haiti. If the job doesn't materialize, I still would like to move to DR. Seems to be a lot of condo and resort construction going on. I would also consider partnering with a local to form a construction company. Tryin to get my foot in the door, tired of paying my taxes and those for 3 or 4 more.
