Good day; does anyone know if there is any such law stating if you are an expat, and you purchase property in the Dominican Republic and you pass away, Now you want to leave your property to your family. Is it true that your attorney that represented you in the purchase of your property is entitled to 50% of your property, before your family can take over the property?
