Dancing, learning spanish and working as an engineer or any available job

Hi, I am considering moving in DR to learn spanish and dance lots. I want to be able to live for cheap and work. I am an engineer from Canada but I would do any job just to be there and fulfill my goal of dancing and learning spanish. I also require good internet connection. Any suggestions? Thank you!
