The Guardian in London has a fledgling expatriate website and we're hoping to hear stories by talented and opinionated expats about the trials and tribs, both emotional and physical, of moving to a new country.
We publish the good ones online in a blaze of newspapery glory, and burn the rest. Ha, not really, the rest we put together into 'tips and helpful hints', or blogs, or well, well find SOMEWHERE for them.
Incidentally, we're also looking for especially smart-alec expats, who know everything about the country they've moved to, to put themselves forward as 'country experts'.
We believe the site should belong to the readers, and we want them to pitch in as much as possible. Come and have a look and see what I mean, at guardianabroad.co.uk.
Or feel free to email me with questions. I'm at [email protected].
Cheerio,
Anna
