I live in San Francisco, California USA. Just recently my partner told me of the possibility of getting an assignment with this company in Algiers. We both have a great sense of adventure and feel excited about the idea of experiencing another culture and living abroad. We are pretty adaptable and don't consider ourselves spoiled by all the comforts we get in the USA. Yet we will be able to afford an upper middle classrental. Is there any americans living in Algeries that would like to share their experience while living there. I would also be interested non-USA citizens opinions. Can you touch on: drinking water quality and how reliable bottled water is, quality of vegetables, meats, fish; food in general. What areas are considered the best for living. Health care including dental. Subjective and objective opinions will be greatly appreciated.
