Salaam and Happy New Year to All
My wife and I have decided to move to Algeria to be with the family and inshaAllah make a living, we would like to hear from any one who has already moved or is planing to move to the west side of Algeria (Oran, Tlemcen and surrounding area)
as you might imagine it is a big step and we have concerns and would like to discuss further.
some of the concerns are as follow:
Security and Safety?
cost of living?
Moving costs (if any one has ideas we were quoted £4500 so-far?
is there English speaking families (especially ladies as my wife is a native British and does not speak neither Arabic nor French and I am sure she would like to meet ladies in the same situation)
How to apply for residency?
do we still have to declare income for income tax purposes in the UK?
job and business opportunities?
these are some of the concerns
We both hope to get in touch with people in the same situation and hopefully get the answers to the questions
